The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA) presents this educational DVD regarding preparation of care provider nurses/nurse practitioners for depositions - “Think Before Speaking.” With its stated vision for advocating excellence and creating opportunities for nurse attorneys, TAANA provides resources, education, and leadership to its members and the health care and legal communities. TAANA’s Litigation Section prepared the DVD as a comprehensive review of issues that care provider nurses/nurse practitioners should consider prior to giving depositions. The DVD shows a care provider nurse and nurse practitioner demonstrating behaviors that do and do not follow the recommended guidelines. The DVD is intended to be used in conjunction with attorney preparation of care provider nurses/nurse practitioners to give depositions in medical malpractice cases.
